Brian Haas, MD
As Co-medical Director of the Porter Center for Joint Replacement, Dr. Haas strives to for nothing but excellence with each patient he sees. By focusing exclusively on joint replacement, Dr. Haas brings an uncommon level of expertise to patients seeking hip and knee replacement surgery.
Dr. Haas was awarded his M.D. from Rush Medical College, completed his orthopedic training program at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center and received his fellowship at Anderson Orthopedic Institute with Drs. Charles Engh and Gerald Engh.

Will Petitt, PA-C
Will Petitt, PA-C grew up in Fort Lauderdale, FL and graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1996 with a B.S. in Exercise Science, and from the University of Florida in 1998 with a Bachelor and a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Will worked in Sports Medicine and Orthopedics and in Trauma before moving to Colorado in 2002 and joining Colorado Joint Replacement with Dr. Brian Haas. Will has been married for almost 10 years and has two daughters and a son. Will is most famously known for his annual Joint Replacements with Altitude hike, leading patients, therapists, nurses, and doctors on a 14’er hike each summer. Aside from family and his work, Will loves hiking and football. (Go Gators!)
Gayla Surovik, MA
Gayla Surovik has worked for Dr. Brian Haas for 20 years and most recently began working for Dr. Charlie Yang. She enjoys working in the health care industry especially when she sees how she can change the lives of patients and enable them to do the things they love to do again.
Gayla is a mother of four and a grandmother of three. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and downloading books on her Kindle. Gayla feels she has been blessed by the patients she has gotten to know at Colorado Joint Replacement and would not change her career choice.
